Topics: The fundamental group, singular homology, long exact sequences, excision
Prerequisites: Topology II, any introductory course in undergraduate algebra

News
- The first meeting will be on Tuesday Sept. 1. The first exercise class will meet on Wednesday Sept. 9.
- The instructor is on sick leave on Dec 7 - Dec 9. The class on Dec 8 and the exercise session on Dec 9 will be canceled.
We will have the last exercise session on Thursday Dec 10 (starting a 10.15) instead of a regular lecture.
Teaching schedule
Weeks 36-42 and 44-50, Tuesday and Thursday from 10-12 in room B322. In additon, two hours of exercise classes per week.
Exams
One can pass the class by attending lectures and doing homework exercises. Alternatively, one can pass the class by taking an exam.
It is possible to take the exam on January 28, 2016.
