Quasiconformal mappings and elliptic PDE's, spring 2013
Lecturer
Note:
Lectures this week: On Monday Feb. 25., on Tuesday Feb. 26. and on Wednesday Feb.27.
Scope
10 cu.
Type
Advanced studies.
The course gives an introduction to planar quasiconfomal mappings, their geometric properties and their interactions with PDE's.
With time permitting, a number of applications are also discussed.
Prerequisites
Real analysis; basic complex analysis; some familiarity of Sobolev spaces maybe helpful but not required.
