Instructions for Speakers

Please make sure you are aware of your session times and role in the programme, and arrive a few minutes early to help ensure a smooth flow of discussions.

For Session Chairs

We kindly ask Chairs to briefly introduce each speaker before their presentation. A few words about the speaker's background or expertise would be appreciated.

For All Speakers

Please plan to finish your presentation 5 minutes early to allow time for questions and discussion afterward.

For Discussants

We encourage discussants to prepare questions in advance based on the presentation topic. More detailed information can be found in the conference publication. If you work on a similar subject, you are welcome to briefly share your own insights or observations during the discussion.

Keynote Speakers

Keynote speakers are invited by the Programme Committee. They deliver extended lectures on vital and forward-looking topics.

Invited Speakers

Invited lecturers represent network countries. They present a 45-minute lecture on important topics in survey statistics, covering both theory and application.

Contributed Speakers

Authors of contributed papers are allotted 20 minutes (15 minutes for presentation, 5 minutes for questions) for their presentation. The presentation should typically:

  • Summarize the aim of the research or application
  • Describe the methodology used
  • Highlight key results
  • Identify open questions suitable for discussion

Abstracts and Templates

All speakers are invited to submit an extended abstract of their talk (recommended length: 4–6 pages). This ensures that participants can become more familiar with the research being conducted.

You can submit your abstract through the same website used for registration. After completing your registration, simply return to your submission and upload your abstract directly in the system. You can also submit your abstract to bnu2026@csp.gov.lv.

Warning

Please prepare your abstract according to the template below and save your abstract before submission!
