SBB Molecules Club

Last modified by Tommi Kajander on 2024/03/20 13:48

Organizer: Dr. Tommi Kajander. Email: firstname.lastname at helsinki.fi.

The Structural Biology and Biophysics (SBB) Molecules Club has been held monthly (since Autumn 2016), normally on Tuesdays (time to be updated), and feature the talks from Viikki campus research groups on molecular biosciences and structural biology and biophysics, as well as from invited guest speakers.  Now also the INSTRUCT-ERIC webinars are included for the students to obtain credits.

The meetings are open to all. Credits will be available for students. 1 ECTS can be obtained from following 10 lectures or from a presentation in the series, 2 ECTS maximum per seminar series as per instructions from ILS doctoral program). If you participate to Instruct-ERIC webinars, please remember to use your full name when participating, and ask for a proof of participation from the organizer or discuss with Tommi how to demonstrate your participation (describe major points of each presentation (e.g. half a page or short summary) as the prefered way).

INSTRUCT webinars: https://instruct-eric.eu/content/instructeric-webinar-series-structure-meets-function (more information later, contact Hanna Oksanen/Tommi Kajander). Please check the link for updates!

NOTE: INSTRUCT webinars are also recorded and are available on the INSTRUCT web page and can be watched any time - to get credits for these provide 0.5-1 page summary on each seminar talk. (you can obtain 1 credit by submitting ten seminar reports).
