14 This course is tailored for Bioinformatics Master´s degree students (MBI), and other students (for example statistics, mathematics) with no familiarity in molecular genetics.
15 In Aalto-MBI this is called "BfmsI" (Biology for methodological scientists).
16 The course provides the basic knowledge of molecular genetics assumed in other bioinformatics courses.
