Scope

5 +3 cr. The 5 cr part is gained via written exam and the additional 3 cr can be acquired by making a larger home assignment (for details see here).

Advanced studies

Prerequisites

Probability calculus, calculus, linear algebra are important pre-requisites. Stochastic processes and computational statistics are useful, but not obligatory.

Lectures

Weeks 11-18, Tuesday 12-14 and Thursday 12-14 in room B120. First lecture March 11th, last lecture April 24th (lecture on April 29th is cancelled).

Easter holiday 17.-23.4.

Exams

Written exam on May 6th, 12-16 in room B120.
