The second course exam is on Thursday (December 16) at 5 p.m. (until 8 p.m.). We start at 5 p.m. sharp in the usual classroom. The topics to be covered in the exam are as follows:

Lectures 11-19. Exercises 6, 7 and the R Exercises (see Lectures 17 and 20). The corresponding chapters from the course book as follows: 17.3-17.4, 18-19, 21-25, 26.1-26.3, and 29-30.

N.B. It is possible to do a final exam on Thursday (Dec 16). The final exam covers the whole material of the autumn term 2010. In addition, to the material as listed above, the final exam covers also the material that was listed for course exam 1 (see the bottom of this page).

Exams

There are two exams (max. points 24+24). To pass the course, one needs to
 obtain approximately half of the points, i.e., 24/48
 points.

The first course exam is on Thursday (October 21) at 5 p.m. (until 8 p.m.)
 We start at 5 p.m. sharp in the usual classroom. The topics to be covered
 in the exam as as follows:
