Kirjautuminen
Kun tulet sivulle, paina sivun oikeassa ylälaidassa 'login' ja kirjaudu sisään käyttämällä yliopiston tunnuksiasi. Jos sinulla on oikeus muokata sivun sisältöä, niin sivun oikeassa laidassa näkyy 'Edit' nappi. Sitä painamalla pääset muokkaamaan sivua.
Muokkaaminen
Sivun muokkaamiseen on kaksi työkalua: Rich Text Editor ja Wiki Markup. RTE toimii kuin tekstieditori, ja on käytännössä järkevä vain siihen. WM työkalulla editointiin tarvittavat komennot löytyy editorin oikeasta palkista. Kaikki ohjeet näillä sivuilla annetaan WM-editorille.
Tiedoston lisääminen
Jos haluat lisätä pdf:n sivuillesi, niin se tapahtuu 'Edit' napin vieressä olevalla 'Add' napin avulla valitsemalla 'Attachment'. Pdf:n linkitys Wiki Markupissa tapahtuu ikkunan oikean palkin mukaisesti:
[Linkkiteksti|^tiedostonnimi.pdf]
tai
[^tiedostonnimi.pdf]
jolloin tiedostonnimestä tulee myös linkkiteksti.
Jos editointi menee pieleen
Painamalla 'Tools' ja valitsemalla 'History' ja sieltä 'Restore this version' saat vanhan sivun takaisin.
Muuta
Voit kokeilla muokkaamista sivun Maija Mehiläinen kanssa.
Tehtyjä muutoksia ja kuka ne on tehnyt näkyvät painamalla 'Tools' ja valitsemalla 'History'.
Jos sinulla on editointioikeudet sivulle niin perjaatteessa voit muokata sivuja hyvin pitkälle miten tahdot. Olisi kuitenkin suotavaa, että pitäytyisit siinä formaatissa jolla sivut on luotu, jotta sivuilla säilyisi yhteinen ilme. Voit aina lisätä esimerkiksi kotisivulinkin sivuille jotka ovat enemmän itsesi näköiset.

General Instructions
Login
When you arrive at the page, press 'login' at the top of the page and login with your university username and password. If you have the permissions to edit the page a toolbar will be visible at the top right of the page. In the toolbar there is a 'Edit' button. By pressing it you can edit pages.
Editing
There are two editors for editing wiki pages: the Rich Text Editor and Wiki Markup. RTE functions like a text editor and is basically only good for that. The tags used to edit with WM can be found on the right in the editor. All instructions on this page are given for the WM editor.
Adding a file
If you want to add a pdf file to your page, click the 'Add' button in the toolbar and select 'Attachment'. To link the pdf to your page, use the notation shown on the right hand side of the WM editor:
[Link text|^filename.pdf]
or
[^filename.pdf]
now the filename will also be the link text.
If the editing goes wrong
Click 'Tools' in the toolbar and select 'History' and then select a version you want to get back and click 'Restore this version'.

To view changes and who has done them click 'Tools' in the toolbar and select 'History'.
If you have editing permissions to a page, then you can quite freely change the shape of the page. However, in order to maintain the visual look of the page it is advised not to change the format when editing pages. If you want to create pages more in your likening you can always make a link to such a page.
