Science-IT continues with the Scientific Computing in Practice (SCIP)
courses. Here is a tentative plan for the upcoming fall/winter. Spring
courses to be announced later.

Fall 2018 / Winter 2019 courses, tentative plan: Linux Shell basics
(2x3h), GPU computing (4x3h), Condor introduction (2x2h), Matlab Basics
(4x3h), Triton winter kickstart (1x4h in Jan)

Right now (sorry for short announcement) we will start with the Linux
Shell Basics. It is a spin-off from the last spring Linux Shell
Programming. Dedicated to Linux terminal practicalities only at very
introductory level, mostly for those new to Linux users that want to
know what is behind the command line. No scripting, just working with
files, processes, running shell utilities etc. We need this as a ground
state for many other Triton courses.

Right after the Shell course, we jump to GPU computing. It's where you
meet the GPU cards and practical aspects of their usage on Triton
including code compilation and CUDA programming.
