2022 Evident Olympus Apexview APX100 Demo 13-21.9

BIU will host an Evident APX 100 digital imaging system demo at Biomedicum. The system is an all-in-one microscope for fast, automated imaging of slides and dishes.

The Apexview APX100 demo has been postponed due to sickness. We hope to run the demos during the week starting Sept.19th but that is yet to be confirmed.

The demo has had to be postponed indefinitely. Possibly late November or early December.

System description:

• Automated sample detection and high-speed autofocus.
• Gradient contrast and reduced halo artifacts in phase contrast (transmitted light imaging)
• Sample holder for 3 microscope slides, multiwell plate, or general holder for dishes

Objectives:

• UPLXAPO 4x-40x
• UPLXAPO 60XOil
• UCPLFLN 20x and 40x phase contrast (for plastic bottom dishes)

Fluorescence filters:

• DAPI, GFP, TRITC, mCherry, Cy5

Cameras:

• DP23 Color (for histological stains)
• ORCA Fusion b&w (for fluorescence)

Unfortunately there will be no incubator available (for live cell) during the demo.
