Data Session workshop and submissions 2020 (Copy)
Data Session Thu Nov 19 14:45-16.15
In this workshop participants jointly explore their existing datasets for new research ideas. In round table groups, the participants will briefly present their research project and data, and we will collectively discuss them. Join the workshop if you have some textual/visual/audio data and you would like some friendly feedback on how to analyze them!
N.B. the workshop is only open for those who bring their data – no audience allowed
The participants will be divided into small topical groups. Each participant should prepare an excerpt from the data (a few pages) and make it available to other participants in the group in a digital format. We will share the data in the actual workshop only, and only among the participants. The excerpt should describe the content (e.g. variables/fields) in the data and provide a few full examples of analyses units (e.g. 5 messages)
To join the workshop, please fill in your details to the table below on Wed Nov 18th at the latest:
- Your name
- A brief description of the dataset and it's context
- Your own area of research
- NB! Do not add your research question or theoretical frame.
The session takes place on Zoom. Link will be sent to participants by email on Thu 19th.
