Scope
5+3 cu.
Type
Advanced studies. The course will be similar to the earlier versions, thus for details apart from specific dates you can take a look at the old lecture diary here, which will be updated during the course.
Prerequisites
Probability calculus, calculus, linear algebra are important pre-requisites. Stochastic processes and computational statistics are useful, but not obligatory.
Lectures
First lecture 12.3, last lecture 25.4. Lectures on Tuesday 12-14 and Thursday 12-14 in room B120.
Easter holiday 28.3.-3.4.
NB In contrast to the pre-annoucement there will be a lecture also on Thu 11.4.!
Exams
A written exam will be arranged on May 2nd in room B120 12-16 for the 5cr part. A larger assignment is required for the additional 3cr. For details about possible assignment topics, see the above link to lecture diary page.
