Linear algebra and matrices I. (In which we covered chapters 1,2 and 3 of Poole's book.) We begin this course with section 3.5 of Poole's book.
Lectures
Welcome to this part of the course! Weeks 44-49, Mon 16-18 in room C123, Wed 10-12 in room B120.
Exams: The second (make-up) exam for Linear Algebra and Matrices 2 is on Monday December 20, 14-16 in room B120. It covers chapters 4.1-4.3,5.1-5.3,6.1-6.6. Exam is based on the homework questions.
Bibliography
We use the text "Linear Algebra" by David Poole, 2nd edition. The course covers chapters 4,5 and 6.

Monday, November 22: The instructor will lecture on pages 269-306, as much of this material as possible.
