Type
Introduction to Matlab programming, intensive course.
Matlab is a largely used numerical programming environment. The focus of the course is in learning to use the program.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of calculus and linear algebra. No previous programming experience is requiered, but if this is the case, then one should be prepared to work harder during the course.

Each lecture includes a short introduction to the topic and exercises.

Homeworks
Return one of the homeworks to the lecturer by e-mail at latest 2.6.2011. See more information about the homeworks from Session 5 slides.
The course will be held in English.
Passing the course
Requirements: Attendance to the lectures (minimum 3/5) plus passing the homework.
Grading: passing/no passing.

We are taking in more registrations than there are computers in the lecture room, because usually some people do not show up. If it happens that there are too many people at the first lecture, then we will need to cut off the extras (early registration and main subject criteria).
