Known issues and possible solutions:

405 laser

Symptom: No/very weak DAPI (or other 405 label) signal although the signal was strong via oculars.

Cause: The computer does not have full control of the laser lightpath for some reason.

Solution: Restart the software. This should solve the problem but if not you can try restarting the computer and turning the scanner (middle green button) off and on again.

Frequency: Less frequent than before but still occasionally occurs. Only affects the first user of the day. Once the system is on it remains stable.
