High-content screening systems

Last modified by Jussi Kenkkilä on 2024/03/13 13:03

The main high-content- screening system at BIU is the ImageXpress PICO. It replaces the Thermo FisherScientific CellInsight that was disconnected in spring 2020. In addition, several wide-field microscopes are capable of automatic imaging (z-stacks, tile images and positions).

ImageXpress PICO

The Molecular Devices ImageXpress Pico is a simple high-content screening digital wide-field microscope with bright-field & multi-color fluorescence imaging with LED excitation & fixed filters. Well-plates or microscope slides can be used, and the system has environmental control for live cell experiments on well plates.
