From city to Statistics Finland

Statistics Finland is situated about 4 kilometres north-east of the central railway station. The cost of a taxi from the city centre to Statistics Finland is 15–25 €.

The easiest way to reach Statistics Finland is to take a metro train to eastbound direction, “Itään”, from the metro stations “Central Railway Station”, “Helsingin yliopisto” or “Kamppi,  all located in the city centre. Both metro trains to east (Itään) “Vuosaareen” and “Mellunmäkeen”, take you to Statistics  Finland.

Statistics Finland is situated next door to the metro station “Kalasatama”, which  is the first terrestrial metro station. The metro journey takes ca 6 minutes from the central railway station to ”Kalasatama”. A single ticket costs 2.50 € bought from  a ticket machine, which are available next to the escalator to the platform at every metro station. (Source: Statistics Finland)

  • inform guest name
  • inform arrival and departure dates (check-in 14.00 on day of   arrival, check-out 12.00 noon on day of departure)
  • inform that you wish to make a reservation from the allotment   “BaNoCoSS2015”
  • allotment size is 
    • 10 single rooms (93 eur/night or 329e/4-7nights) and
    • 10 one bedroom flats (2 beds) 144e/night or 487e/4-7 nights in single occupancy, 154e/night or 557e/4-7 nights
  • reservations can be made until 24th of July 2015  upon  availability in the allotment, wait for confirmation
  • room rate includes breakfast
  • we require a credit card authorization (ask from  unihome@helsinki.fi )
  • rooms are for single occupancy, if larger room is needed please   enquire by e-mail
