How to install and configure OpenIris Agent

Steps

• Install OpenIris agent ("IrisUserAgentSetup_1.9.1.19.exe") on the target workstation (l:\em_vault\Software\OpenIris\)
  • If Windows blocks the installer, copy it to c:\hyapp and start installation from there

• Login as local_admin (start OpenIris with admin rights?) using remote desktop

• Select Adapt Settings from the OpenIris agent in the system tray

• Define the settings as:

• • IRIS Base URL: https://hilife.openiris.io/
  • IRIS GUID and IRIS Secret Key: these can be found in Admin→Resource→Settings tab)

  • Enable Agent: checked
  • Enforce Windows login/logoff: checked
  • Show Clock: checked
  • Trigger End Session: checked
  • Allow postponing agent enforcement, max: 10 minutes (to allow extend the session by users)
  • Clock scaling factor: 0.8 (change size of the running clock window)
  • Logging Level: Trace

Press the Test connection IRIS button, if

Press the Save button to close the configuration window
