The ORGANISING ONLINE CONFERENCES manual contains the following sections:

 

  1. Planning events and event structure’ will direct your attention to questions you must be able to answer at the planning stage.
  2. Preliminary measures for events’ lists the actions organisers must take well in advance of the event.
  3. ‘Just before the event’ helps organisers prepare on the event day.
  4. During the event’ sums up the matters to be taken into consideration during events.
  5. After the event’ lists the measures to be taken by organisers after the event.
  6. 'Videos for conferences' has links to videos introducing e.g. the University and City of Helsinki.

Contributions to the manual were made by the IT Centre and Educational Technology Services in collaboration with the Conference and Event services.
