Digitisation of specimens in the Finnish Museum of Natural History LUOMUS

Digitisation of specimens can mean two things

• Imaging the specimen with (high resolution) cameras, 3d scanners, etc
• Databasing information about the specimens, for example transcribing labels (identification, place, time, ..)

This wiki space contain process information and usage instructions on how specimens are digitised in Luomus. This space also contains memos and working documents for Digi Task Group that aims to document and improve these processes.
