HUGG uses two main pieces of software to study lithospheric deformation, DOUAR and Pecube. Freely available software can be found on our GitHub page.

In addition, we have developed a number of smaller software programs that may be of interest:

  • ArcSwath - An efficient tool for creating swath profiles in ArcGIS
  • Detrital MC - A program for plotting and comparing detrital age observations and predictions as PDFs, CDFs or ECDFs
  • Pecube-AER - A simple Python script for calculating long-term average exhumation rates from Pecube
  • PecubeLS - A program for simulating random sampling of surface ages by landslides in Pecube
