National guidance and questions that assist with data management planning have been updated in August 2021. A large group of experts co-operated in writing the guidance. The members of the group came from Finnish universities, research institutions and The Academy of Finland. The work was coordinated by Tuuli office, which was funded (2015-2018) by Ministry in Education and Culture.

The questions and guidance have been modified based on user feedback to make them more explicit and easier to understand. The questions and guidance will be updated annually in the future as well.  As the expertise of the users increases it would be useful that the structure of the guidance stays the same.

The guidance is in English, Finnish and Swedish.
