We consider a situation where the particles are homogeneously distributed in space and may be constituted by several different chemicals. The distribution of particle composition over time may be described by the multicomponent Smoluchowski's coagulation equation. We study existence of mass-preserving solutions for a large class of kernels and prove some properties regarding the shape of these solutions using moments. In particular, we prove that the mass tends to localize along lines in the size space for large times.
