Magnetic Laplacian: from topological quantization to semi-classical analysis
Abstract:
This two-times talk is organized as follows:
First we will introduce the basics issues, mathematical as well physical,
of the magnetic Laplacian: Quantum Hall systems, Supra-conductivity,
non-commutative algebras, spectral analysis etc...
Secondly we will introduce, using simple models the particularities of
this subtle object. We will focus us on two rather recent results:
Existence of a pure magnetic topologically quantized transport
and semi-classical analysis.
As conclusion we will give an answer to Montgommery problem:
“ Can we hear the Zero locus of a magnetic field?”
