Surface-atmosphere interactions are currently measured at ten stations, run by the group (see map on the right). In addition, the group collaborates with other institutes in Finland and internationally. The primary means to measure the interaction between different surfaces and the atmosphere, used by the group, is the eddy-covariance flux-measurement technique that is utilized at all ten stations. The modelling work done by the group uses the data from these sites, in addition to other sources.

More information on the eddy-covariance flux-measurement technique, measurement site locations and the EddyUH flux calculation software can be found on the separate Eddy-covariance website.
