Master's Degree Programme in Bayesian Statistics and Decision Analysis (EuroBayes)Master's Degree Programme in Bayesian Statistics and Decision Analysis (EuroBayes) is implemented as a joint effort of six European universities, representing a wide spectrum of different orientations of study and corresponding profiles of research. Teaching is given in English. The program provides advanced training for students who wish to develop special skills in the modern methodologies of statistical data analysis, with a particular emphasis on Bayesian inference. Tilastollisen Bayes-päättelyn maisteriohjelman (EuroBayes) toteutuksesta vastaa kuusi tutkimuksellisesti eri tavoin profiloitunutta eurooppalaista yliopistoa. Opetuskieli maisteriohjelmassa on englanti. Ohjelmassa koulutetaan modernin Bayes-päättelyyn painottuneen data-analyysin asiantuntijoita. Bioinformatiikan maisteriohjelma (MBI)Bioinformatiikan maisteriohjelma MBI on Helsingin yliopiston ja Teknillisen korkeakoulun yhteinen kaksivuotinen maisterin tutkintoon johtava ohjelma. Bioinformatiikan maisteriohjelma tarjoaa ainutlaatuisen yhdistelmän bioinformatiikkaa, menetelmätieteitä sekä bio- ja lääketieteitä. MBI-ohjelmasta valmistuvat sijoittuvat monipuolisiin tutkimus-, koulutus- ja asiantuntijatehtäviin teollisuuteen, yliopistoihin ja tutkimuslaitoksiin. Opetuskieli maisteriohjelmassa on englanti. Kansainvälinen ohjelma tarjoaa myös mahdollisuuden tutustua eri puolilta maailmaa tuleviin opiskelijoihin. Master programmes

At least one academic term of studies is to be completed at one of the collaborating universities other than Helsinki. Teaching is given in English. The program provides advanced training for students who wish to develop special skills in the modern methodologies of statistical data analysis, with a particular emphasis on Bayesian inference. Master's Degree Programme in Bioinformatics (MBI)Master's Degree Programme in Bioinformatics MBI is a two-year MSc programme offered jointly by the University of Helsinki ja Helsinki University of Technology. MBI programme offers a unique combination of bioinformatics, methodological sciences, biosciences and medicine. MBI graduates are employed in diverse positions in research, education and consultancy, in the industry, universities and research institutes. Teaching in MBI is given English. During your studies you will get to know students from all around the world. |
