MetaLib Server Monitor

A simple Perl script that analyzes the output of the server_monitor command every two seconds and displays the
number of search servers, WWW servers and Z39.50 gates and how many of them are busy. Does not need any input or
parameters and displays a single line every two seconds (or thereabouts).

Installation

  • Download the package
  • Unpack it (tar -xf filename)
  • Make sure it's executable (chmod +x filename)
  • Check perl path and change it if necessary (the first line of the file). Our installation is at m4_3 so you may need to change it to m4_2 or something else.
  • Run the program
