| Aineistokuvaus | Aineiston aihealoja ovat johtaminen, talous, tekniikka ja yhteiskuntatieteet. Palvelussa on 189 tieteellistä aikakauslehteä.Lisäksi konsortion käytössä on Emerald Management Xtra. Pakettiin ei tule uusia lehtiä sopimuskauden aikana. |
| Käyttäjät | Aineistoa saavat käyttää sopimukseen osallistuvan organisaation (jäsenorganisaatio) opiskelijat, tutkijat, henkilökunta (myös väliaikaiset ja vierailevat) eli auktorisoidut käyttäjät sekä asianomaisen organisaation kirjaston paikallisasiakkaat eli paikalliskäyttäjät. |
| Sallittu käyttö | Aineistoa saa käyttää opetus- ja etäopiskelutarkoituksiin sekä henkilökohtaiseen opiskeluun ja tutkimukseen. Mitä saa tehdä: Auktorisoidut ja paikalliskäyttäjät saavat: - tehdä hakuja, selailla, katsella, näyttää aineistoa ruudulta - tallentaa sähköisesti osia aineistosta - tulostaa yksittäisiä kopioita aineiston osista - ottaa tulosteesta kohtuullinen määrä valokopioita - jakaa yksittäisiä kopioita aineiston osista tulosteina tai sähköisessä muodossa toisille auktorisoiduille ja paikallisasiakkaille, mukaan lukien kopioiden jakaminen jäsenorganisaation opiskelijoille organisaatiossa tapahtuvaa opetusta varten. Vain auktorisoidut käyttäjät saavat - käyttää osia aineistosta elektronisten ja paperimuodossa olevien kurssipakettien ja aineistolistojen valmistamisessa käytettäväksi opetuksessa ja/tai virtuaaliympäristöissä suojatussa verkossa. Käytetyn aineiston tulee sisältää lähdeviitteet (lähde, nimeke, tekijänoikeuden haltija). Lukemisesteisille auktorisoiduille käyttäjille on lupa tehdä ei-elektronisessa, ei-painetussa muodossa olevia kurssipaketteja (esim. Braille). - jakaa yksittäisiä kopioita aineiston osista tulosteina tai sähköisessä muodossa jäsenorganisaation ulkopuolisille kollegoille tieteellistä tutkimusta ja kommunikointia varten tai käytettäväksi keskusteluryhmissä. - esitellä julkisesti osia aineistosta osana esitystä seminaarissa, konferenssissa, workshopissa tms. - jäsenorganisaatiossa työskentelevä auktorisoitu käyttäjä, joka on kirjoittanut artikkelin Emeraldin lehteen, saa tallentaa artikkelista kopion (ei embargoa) jäsenorganisaation avoimeen julkaisuarkistoon tai tieteenalakohtaiseen arkistoon. Artikkelin pitää olla "non-Emerald version" eli se ei saa sisältää Emeraldin logoja eikä tuotemerkkejä, eikä se saa olla samassa muodossa (fontti, asettelu) kun julkaistu artikkeli. Artikkelin pitää sisältää linkki www.emeraldinsight.com sivuilla sijaitsevaan artikkeliin. |
| Kielletty käyttö | Mitä ei saa tehdä: - poistaa, peittää tai muuttaa aineistoon liittyviä tekijänoikeushuomautuksia tai vastuuvapauslausekkeita - systemaattisesti tallettaa elektronisesti tai tulostaa paperille moninkertaisia poimintoja aineistosta (paitsi silloin kun se on sopimuksessa erikseen sallittu) - toimittaa käyttäjälle toisessa kirjastossa tai muualla elektroninen kopio aineiston osasta (paitsi silloin kun se on sopimuksessa erikseen sallittu) - näyttää tai levittää osioita aineistosta suojatun tietoverkon ulkopuolelle (paitsi silloin kun se on sopimuksessa erikseen sallittu) - sallia aineiston käyttö muille kuin sopimuksen sallimille käyttäjille (paitsi silloin kun se on sopimuksessa erikseen sallittu). Palvelun tarjoajan kirjallinen lupa tarvitaan, jos halutaan: - käyttää aineistoa kaupalliseen tarkoitukseen (myynti, jälleenmyynti, laina, siirto, vuokraus tai muu taloudellinen hyväksikäyttö). Kaupallisenä käyttönä ei pidetä aineiston käyttöä kaupallisen toimijan rahoittaman tutkimuksen tekemiseen. - julkaista, jakaa tai asettaa saataville aineistoa, teos joka perustuu aineistoon tai teos jossa aineistoa on yhdistetty muuhun materiaaliin (paitsi silloin kun se on sopimuksessa erikseen sallittu). - muuttaa, muokata, lyhentää, adaptoida aineistoa muutoin kuin mitä sen tarjoaminen auktorisoiduille käyttäjille ja kirjaston paikallisasiakkaille näyttöruudulta edellyttää (paitsi silloin kun se on sopimuksessa erikseen sallittu) Aineiston sisältämien sanojen tai niiden järjestyksen muuttaminen ei ole sallittua. - aineiston käyttämien text mining tarkoituksiiin |
| Etäkäyttö | Aineiston etäkäyttö on sallittua auktorisoiduille käyttäjille kirjautumalla oman organisaation verkkoon. |
| Lisätietoja | Auktorisoidut käyttäjät, jotka ovat konsortion jäsenen henkilökuntaa, saavat käyttää ainestoa tiedonlähteenä indexoitaessa lehtiä ja lisättäessä lehtitason metatietoa kirjastoluetteloon ja kun lehti- ja artikkelikohtaista metatietoa organisaation avoimeen julkaisuarkistoon. Artikkelikohtainen metatieto sisältää esim. avainanat, tekijät, nimeke, abstrakti. Lehtikohtainen metetieto sisältää esim. | Authorised users | Authorised Users are: - current members of the faculty and other staff of the Licensee (whether on a permanent, temporary, contract or visiting basis) - individuals who are currently studying at the Licensee’s institution Walk-in Users are persons who are not Authorised Users but who are permitted to access the Secure Network from computer terminals within the Licensee’s physical Premises. |
| Permitted use | The Licensed Material may be used for Educational purposes (for the purpose of education, teaching, distance learning, private study and/or research). Authorised Users and Walk-in-Users may: - Search, download, view, retrieve and display the Licensed Material - Electronically save copies of parts of the Licensed Material. - Print off single copies of parts of Licensed Material. - Make a reasonable number of photocopies of parts of the Licensed Material for Educational purposes. - Distribute single copies of parts of the Licensed Material in print or electronic form to other Authorised and Walk-in-Users. This sub-clause shall include the distribution of a copy for teaching purposes to each individual student Authorised User in a class at the Licensee’s institution. Authorised Users may: - Incorporate parts of the Licensed Material in printed and electronic course packs, study packs, resource lists and in any other material (including but not limited to multi-media works) to be used in the course of instruction and/or in virtual and managed environments hosted on a Secure Network. Each item shall carry appropriate acknowledgement of the source, listing title and copyright owner. Course packs in non-electronic non-print perceptible form, such as Braille, may also be offered to Authorised Users who are reading impaired. - Distribute single copies of parts of the Licensed Material in print or electronic form to third party colleagues for the purposes of scientific research and communication or to be used for the basis of discussion groups. - Publicly display or publicly perform parts of the Licensed Material as part of a presentation at a seminar, conference, or workshop, or other such similar activity. - Authorises Users working at Licensee institutions who are Emerald authors may save and/or deposit (no enbargo) in perpetuity a non-Emerald branded version of their article within that current institution’s website/institutional repository or a subject repository for public access. A non-Emerald version may have all of the editorial changes but it must be in a different format i.e. different font, different layout etc and must not have any Emerald logos or branding. A link must be to the journal homepage at www.emeraldinsight.com must be included. |
| Prohibited use | The Licensee, Authorised Users or Walk-In-Users may not: - Remove or alter the authors' names or the Licensor's copyright notices or other means of identification or disclaimers as they appear in the Licensed Material. - Systematically make printed or electronic copies of multiple extracts of the Licensed Material, save as permitted elsewhere in this Agreement. - Provide, by electronic means, to a user at another library or elsewhere, a retained electronic copy of any part of the Licensed Material, save as permitted elsewhere in this Agreement. - Display or distribute any part of the Licensed Material on any electronic network, including without limitation the Internet and the World Wide Web, other than a Secure Network save as provided elsewhere in this agreement. - Permit anyone other than Authorised or Walk-In-Users to access or use the Licensed Material, save as permitted elsewhere in this Agreement. The Licensor’s explicit written permission must be obtained in order to: - Use the whole or any part of the Licensed Material for any Commercial Use (use for the purposes of monetary reward by means of the sale, resale, loan, transfer, hire or other form of exploitation of the Licensed Material). Use of the Licensed Material in the course of research funded by a commercial organisation, is not deemed to constitute Commercial Use. - Publish, distribute or make available the Licensed Material, works based on the Licensed Material or works which combine it with any other material, save as permitted in this Agreement. - Alter, abridge, adapt or modify the Licensed Material, except to the extent necessary to make it perceptible on a computer screen, to Authorised and Walk-in Users save as permitted in this agreement. For the avoidance of doubt, no alteration of the words or their order is permitted. - Use the Licensed Material for data or text mining purposes. |
| Remote access | Remote access is permitted for Authorized Users via the Licensee institution's secure network. |
| Additional information | Authorized Users who are Licensee's staff members may use the Licensed Material as an information source for indexing and adding Journal Level Metadata to library catalogues and Journal and Article Level Metadata to Licensee’s electronic institutional repositories open to the public. Article Level Metadata includes for example keywords, title, authors, abstracts. Journal Level Metadata includes for example ISSN, title, country. alternate title, start year, frequency. |
